Video by Adam / FDNY firefighter Patrick Brady, a 42-year-old 11-year veteran from a multigenerational firefighting family, died of a heart attack while battling a six-story apartment building blaze in Brownsville, Brooklyn, on November 8, 2025. Brady suffered cardiac arrest on the roof of the burning structure on Kings Highway and was pronounced dead at Brookdale University Hospital despite immediate treatment.
