Football rescue? 🏈👩‍🚒 This week, TFD’s Technical Rescue Team from Station 4 C-Shift teamed up with Pueblo High School for a unique drill. Using rope skills and a high-angle rescue from the tip of the ladder, one of our firefighters rappelled into the netting to retrieve a few runaway footballs. 🚨 Tucson Fire was dispatched to a dumpster fire at 1750 North Sabino Canyon Road at 6:09 this evening. Engine 9 arrived five minutes later and reported heavy, black smoke in the area and discovered a large fuel tank on fire near a private landfill. The call was updated to a HAZMAT response and nearby Udall Park was evacuated as a precaution due to the location of the fire. Crews faced challenges extinguishing this fire because of the location and nearby electrical equipment. The fire was called
