Fixins🍴 @fixinssoulkitchen Finally made our way to Fixins in Oak Park! We kicked things off with the fried deviled eggs—such a unique twist, and we loved them! For entrées, we had the smothered oxtail plate over rice with greens and the catfish plate with yams & mac n cheese. The oxtails were tasty but would’ve been even better with a different rice. Now THIS is a Comfort Meal It's a potato casserole that has all the feel-good fixins. It's creamy, cheesy, and packing a little heat. The cherry on top? Ruffles queso potato chips! 🧑‍🍳: Nicole McLaughlin (@NicoleMcLaughlin ) 📸: Nicole McLaughlin 🔗 Head to the link in bio for more on the recipe. #comfortfood #casserole #ruffles #hashbrowns
