How Does Python Hash a String?

How Does Python Hash a String?

Python can hash a string to make it pretty much unreadable. SHA-256 is one hashing algorithm. SHA-256 is not symmetric, meaning that a string can be enctypted but cannot be decrypted back to the original string. Hashing is used to hide passwords in secure databases. In this video we demonstrate how it works.
