It’s even better in the afternoon! 🏊👊🏻 What a swim! As it sometimes happens at the pool I broke into a spontaneous race with another swimmer. It was like a battle of will. We fought hard for 200m. Neck to neck up to that point. Just like a race pursuit on the cycle track at the velodrome. None of us willing to give an inch. And then just at the 200m mark I broke him. I was ahead! And ploughing through, finally catching him up to end strong my 500m. I know! Not quite 🥇 @olympics but a victory
