Anywhere Debbie goes, her stuffy comes with her. Debbie was approximately five years old when she was captured in the wild and shipped to the United States to be used in biomedical research and breed. In 2002, Debbie and 265 other chimpanzees were rescued from a major research lab and brought to Save the Chimps sanctuary in Florida.
