This reel is a tribute to the late Dr Gerald Arthur Rolph, the savour of Allerton Castle, a gentleman that we had the pleasure whilst on our visit to the Castle, who sadly passed away recently. . Dr Rolph brought the Castle on 1983, he spent millions restoring it to its former glory and filling it with the finest collection of paintings and furniture, including the Eaton Hall state bed. . The Castle then suffered a terrible fire in 2005, but Dr Rolph restored it again, using only the finest craf
