Apr 1, 2020 · So I ran into a little problem when connecting my LG UltraFine display to a Windows PC via USB-C. When starting the PC up the display sometimes doesn't show a picture at all and some other times the pictures isn't sharp at all. But I don't know why this happens. When connecting it to BootCamp everything works.

Mar 24, 2020 · You don't say whether your Surface 4 has Intel or AMD but either of them can display 5K 5120x2880 @ 60 Hz on this monitor, assuming it's really the LG 27MD5KL-B model. You just need a USB-C cable. I think the cable that comes with this is a Thunderbolt cable that likely doesn't work so you'll probably need to find one on Amazon.

Mar 24, 2020 · I think that is a model that supports Thunderbolt and USB-C and should work with a USB-C to DisplayPort bidirectional cable like the one sold by Moshi (without USB) so it's strange that it doesn't work with the Delock 63928 which is described to serve this purpose (DisplayPort out to USB-C display) except the Delock 63928 is not bidirectional (like the Moshi) and doesn't …

Mar 24, 2020 · The LG UltraFine 4K display uses four lanes of DisplayPort 1.2 and USB 2.0. The original 21" LG UltraFine 4K display did not work without a USB 2.0 connection (it wouldn't power on or something). Some USB-C displays like the ASUS MB169C+ that don't have a power supply require USB for power.

Apr 6, 2022. #1. I just received my LG 27" 5K UltraFine monitor (new, not used, 27MD5KL-B). Everything works great. However it has one small issue: the display isn't precisely aligned with the base horizontally (picture attached). I wonder if other users have the same issue? I noticed that another buyer on Amazon mentioned the same problem.
