Winter storm warnings have been issued in four states: Oregon, Washington, California and Minnesota. In northwestern Oregon and parts of Washington, including the Willapa Hills, there will be light snow showers until midnight Friday. Cities impacted include Mary's Peak, Brooklyn, Sunset Summit, Wilson River Summit, Valsetz, and Horton.

An updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 3:45 a.m. valid from 10 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Klamath Basin.

On Wednesday at 2:48 p.m. the NWS Medford OR issued a winter weather advisory valid from Thursday 4 p.m. until Friday 10 a.m. The advisory is for Central Siskiyou County and Northeast Siskiyou and Northwest Modoc counties as well as Modoc County.
