The Royal Box at Wimbledon is a world unto itself. As the final weekend gears up, here's a look at some of the characters in costume both fraught and fabulous.
Joining them is fellow royal King Felipe VI of Spain, along with Mayor of London Sir Sadiq Khan and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Three former Wimbledon champions in Chris Evert, Stefan Edburg and Andre Agassi will also be on centre court. Alongside them, former track cyclist and six-time Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy will be there.
The Princess of Wales, 43, appeared at the event with club chair Debbie Jevans and received an emotional welcome as she made her way to her seat at Centre Court. As seen in a video shared to X by Wimbledon, the crowd clapped and cheered on their feet as Princess Kate made her way to her seat in the front row of the Royal Box.
From British royals to tennis royalty, the All England Club was the place to be on Saturday afternoon at Wimbledon. The stars were out in force to watch Iga Swiatek take on Amanda Anisimova in the women’s final—and uncork a few champagne bottles along the way.
Sir Mo Farah, Stanley Tucci and Greta Gerwig were among the celebrities in Wimbledon’s Royal Box for the women’s singles final. The Devil Wears Prada actor Tucci was sitting next to American filmmaker Noah Baumbach, who attended on Saturday with his wife, Barbie director Gerwig.
