The AP Top 25 Rankings will be released on Monday, giving college football fans their first look at the teams expected to compete at the forefront of the sport and for a national championship.

For the first time in history, Texas football is ranked No. 1 in one of the major preseason polls. The Longhorns sit atop the Preseason Coaches Poll, edging out reigning national champion Ohio State for the No. 1 spot.

Complete college football rankings are trickling out and the consensus is that Texas is No. 1. UTEP is as high as 114th.
