Rory McIlroy did not have his best stuff this week at the PGA Tour's Truist Championship, yet still earned nearly a million dollars with a stellar finish.

FLOURTOWN, Pa. - With all due respect to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the PGA Tour's lone team event, the Truist Championship was Rory McIlroy's first real test of golf since winning the Masters.

Rory McIlroy was only a few feet away from being hit by a golf ball during the early stages of his final round at the Truist Championship. The fans gathered around McIlroy's shot from the rough all ducked in unison when the 'fore' shout came, and although the stray ball bounced up and hit a policeman, everybody escaped unscathed.
