The game was in reach for the Sooners at halftime, but the Tigers played like the No. 1 team in the nation in the second half. Oklahoma kept within reach of No. 1 Auburn for the first half of Tuesday’s road game. But the Tigers showed why they’re the nation’s top-ranked squad in the second half.

Auburn basketball manhandled another member of the nation's best conference for an expected win, and it showed again why it holds its No. 1 status. But a better question could be asked: Is anybody better than the Tigers?

Despite keeping the game competitive throughout the first half, OU men’s basketball fell short in front of a rowdy crowd in the Jungle. The Sooners fell to No. 1 Auburn 98-70 Tuesday night at Neville Arena.
