Christiansen said she opposed the measure while acknowledging property taxes are too high in North Dakota. She said the prospect of property tax elimination is a "stressor" for teachers she's gotten to know at her kids' school in Jamestown. "They are really worried about what happens if Measure 4 passes," she said.
Kevin Cramer and Katrina Christiansen are scheduled to debate again on Oct. 16, just three weeks before Election Day.
