Rescuers found the body of a 19-year-old college student who vanished in a Colorado national park on a canyon cliff, officials said. Dallas Roberts was missing for almost a week inside Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, McClatchy News previously reported.

Dallas Roberts, a student at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, was found dead in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park area.

The Montrose County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the death of 19-year-old Dallas Roberts over the weekend. Authorities said the Colorado Mesa University student was last seen alive on Oct. 28 driving into the Black Canyon area of Gunnison National Park.
