The ILA posted the following statement about its Master Contract on its Facebook page:

On Thursday, the ILA released a statement that it had come to a tentative agreement with the United States Maritime Alliance Ltd. and will extend its six-year master agreement with the organization, which expired on Sept. 30, through Jan. 15, 2025 ,while the two parties return to the negotiating table.

A historic United States port strike has been suspended and a tentative agreement has been reached after a three day stoppage.
