The most recent years of Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout's career have been defined by injuries. And there's a chance the former American League MVP added another ailment to a long list of them.

As Trout attempts to rebound from his slow start, the three-time MVP was removed from Wednesday’s contest after just two at-bats. This understandably sent a wave of concern throughout the fanbase, and manager Ron Washington has since announced an official update.

Jorge Polanco hit two home runs and drove in five runs as the Seattle Mariners beat the Los Angeles Angels 5-3.

Following Tuesday night’s contest, Polanco leads all MLB hitters with a minimum of 70 plate appearances with a 260 weighted runs created plus. Polanco is also the American Leagu
