Lone Star four-star wide receiver Davian Groce has committed to Florida, he announced on Monday evening. In a tight battle with Oklahoma, head coach Billy Napier and the Gators have edged out the Sooners for another big-time recruiting win in The Swamp.

Florida landed its first top-50 commitment in the 2026 class when Texas athlete Davian Groce chose the Gators late Monday.

Groce is considered to be the No. 47 player, the No. 4 athlete and No. 5 player in the state of Texas in the class of 2026 by 247Sports' composite rankings. Along with Florida and Oklahoma, Baylor and Houston were in the mix to land Groce.
