Six Flags is selling off seven of its parks. A company called EPR Properties will buy the parks for $331 million, Six Flags Entertainment Corp. announced in a news release on March 5.

Six Flags is selling seven of its amusement parks, including Michigan's Adventure, to strengthen its foundation and focus.

It was not immediately clear Thursday whether the waterpark south of Houston is expected to remain open after this year.
