Kyle Larson added to his NASCAR Cup Series playoff point total with a sweep of the five available in dominating the Food City 500 on Sunday, April 13 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Larson earned his second win of the season by leading 411 of 500 laps and winning every stage.

William Byron saw his NASCAR Cup Series point lead drop to 30 points, from 49, over Denny Hamlin following Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Once Larson took the lead away from teammate Alex Bowman early in the first stage, there was not much standing in his way of a win on Sunday. Behind Hamlin in second were his JGR teammates Ty Gibbs (third), Chase Briscoe (fourth) and Team Penske's Ryan Blaney (fifth).
