Ahmad Hardy and Jamal Roberts were effective in limited supplies, as Mizzou still often struggled to sustain drives (the Tigers had a 1-for-6 third-down mark at halftime). Mizzou even rolled out a Kevin Coleman Jr. wildcat run play that got 34 yards.
Mizzou broke through for five sacks of Auburn QB Jackson Arnold. The Tigers also had nine tackles for losses totalling 43 yards. Toriano Pride had an early interception, Arnold's first pick since September 2024.
