Charlie Condon struggled in the minor leagues last season, but Rockies GM Bill Schmidt revealed that the first round pick had been dealing with a bruised thumb.

The University of Evansville, Major League Baseball pitcher Kyle Freeland and his wife, Ashley, broke ground on The Freeland Clubhouse during a ceremony Friday.

Rockies general manager Bill Schmidt spoke with reporters at the “Rockies Fest” fan event this weekend, addressing such topics as the health of several notable Colorado players.

According to MiLB.com, right-handed pitcher Tommy Doyle has signed a minor-league contract with the Colorado Rockies that includes an invite to spring training. In 2023, Doyle logged 23 1/3 innings with the Rockies and posted a hefty 6.

The New York Yankees should be exploring all options for their infield. This veteran from the Colorado Rockies could be the upgrade they need at third base.
