Ahead of their first preseason game against the New England Patriots next week, the Washington Commanders reportedly made an addition to their wide receiver room on Friday.

Courtland Sutton is the clear No. 1 receiver in Denver, but McLaurin could pose an interesting option as a WR2. The Broncos are currently having an open competition for the position, where McLaurin would be fighting against second-year wide receiver Devaughn Vele and 2025 third-round pick Pat Bryant.

Chargers: Antonio Gates (No. 85). Gates and former teammate Philip Rivers were both considered, but the nod went to Gates, the soon-to-be Hall of Fame inductee whose 116 career touchdown catches is the most all time for a tight end.
