Manchester United narrowly avoided another embarrassing defeat as substitute Harry Maguire headed in an injury-time equalizer to salvage a 3-3 draw against Porto in the Europa League on Thursday after Erik ten Hag’s team had given up an early 2-0 lead and seen Bruno Fernandes sent off for a second straight game.

Manchester United's season went from bad to worse on Thursday, when they relinquished a two-goal lead but eventually tied 3-3 with Porto in Europa League action, extending their winless run in all competitions to four.

The pressure is on Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag as his misfiring side travel to Porto for this UEFA Europa League Matchday 2 clash.  The visitors were easily beaten 3-0 on home turf by Tottenham in the Premier League at the weekend -- a hugely disappointing defeat that came on the back of United letting slip a lead in a disappointing 1-1 draw with unfancied FC Twente in their opening fixture of this tournament.
