The Travelers is up for a Newsweek Fan’s Choice award as Best PGA Tour Event in 2025. The tournament is going up against some heavy hitters, including The Masters, the Ryder Cup, the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, and the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.

The 2025 Tour Championship will begin on Thursday at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, and Scottie Scheffler will be seeking his second consecutive title after besting Collin Morikawa by four shots last season.

The Travelers Championship is up for Best PGA TOUR Tournament Event, nominated by the Newsweek Fans’ Choice Award. Fans of Connecticut's PGA Tour event held each June at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell can vote once per day. The deadline to vote is Aug. 20 by noon Eastern Standard Time.
