A 13-year-old boy is recovering after being raped in the Bronx, police said. It happened at the Justice Sonia Sotomayor Houses on Bruckner Boulevard in the Soundview section.

He went outside to do a simple household chore, but the 13-year-old boy ended up being attacked and sexually assaulted in the Bronx. Now, police are on the hunt for a suspect, and neighbors are on edge about what happened,

The victim said the suspect put his hand over his mouth to stop him from screaming before sexually assaulting him, police sources said.
