We haven’t seen Yankees pitcher Marcus Stroman and slugger Giancarlo Stanton on a big league field together since Sept. 25, 2024. But both were in action Wednesday for the Double-A Somerset Patriots as part of their respective rehab assignments.

Giancarlo Stanton is in the midst of a rehab assignment with Double-A Trenton, and while he could be activated for this weekend against the Red Sox it may be more likely we see him rejoin the team next week.

George Lombard, the Yankees’ top prospect, has impressed just about everyone in the organization. That includes the rehabbing Stanton.
