Longtime ESPN host Rich Eisen is returning to the network after 20 years. According to The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand, he will bring his daily show to ESPN, and it is expected to play the primary role in the network’s new direct-to-consumer platform.

Eisen — known for hilariously running the 40-yard dash at various NFL combines — left ESPN in 2003 to join the NFL Network, becoming its primary host. He was drawn to the opportunity to be the “tip of the spear” of a new channel dedicated to the NFL.
