F1 legend Jacques Villeneuve has made extraordinary claims that Oscar Piastri contributed to the collision with Lando Norris in the Canadian Grand Prix. Norris failed to finish after clipping the back of Piastri's car while trying to overtake his McLaren teammate with four laps remaining.

George Russell won Formula One’s 2025 Canadian Grand Prix for Mercedes ahead of Max Verstappen, while title-contending McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri collided, with Norris retiring.

Piastri was unscathed and eventually held onto fourth as the race finished under a safety car, allowing him to extend his title advantage.
