Oscar Piastri says he and McLaren teammate Lando Norris are “still free to race” for the Formula 1 title after their collision at the Canadian Grand Prix.

Lando Norris made up for lost time after missing first practice by setting the pace Friday's second session at the Austrian Grand Prix.

Lando Norris clipped Piastri as they dueled for position in the closing laps in Montreal, causing his own retirement, while Piastri was able to continue and take fourth place. Norris immediately accepted responsibility, and was deemed culpable by the stewards, while Piastri swiftly drew a line under the clash.
