Neither could make it to WWE’s first tribute on SmackDown the day after Hulk’s death, but his long-time friend & business partner, his son, and a team from Real American Beer made it to Detroit on July 28 for WWE’s second.

The open to Monday’s show was a second tribute to Hogan, who passed away on Thursday following cardiac arrest. Eric Bischoff, Nick Hogan, Hulk Hogan’s manager, and representatives from Real American Beer were seen on stage as Triple H said a few words about Hogan’s legacy. After that, a ten bell salute took place.

On 83 Weeks, Bischoff revealed he received a text message from Mike Johnson of PW Insider on the morning of Hogan's death on July 24. Johnson heard news about The Hulkster's condition but did not want to report anything. Moments later, Bischoff went back to his hotel room and saw confirmation of his friend's passing on television.
