Austin Dillon‘s clutch victory in Saturday night‘s Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway was big in terms of salvaging his season and championship hopes but also indicative of the big moments the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs have produced — and likely will continue to produce.

Richmond becomes the second track with multiple wins for Dillon, who also has two victories at Daytona International Speedway. Aside from winning the 2018 Daytona 500 season opener, five of his six Cup wins have come after entering a race below the playoff cutline.
