New York democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani visits Washington after his primary win, with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez organizing breakfast, while Republicans frame him as the face of Democrats.

AOC, who loudly backed Mamdani during the primary, said she was eager for people in DC to meet her fellow lefty firebrand face-to- face to hear his plan for NYC.

A White House spokesperson shot back that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez should "get some serious help for her obvious and severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome."
