A woman is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after police said she was struck by a car while walking on Center Street in Manchester Wednesday evening.

A preliminary investigation found that a 77-year-old Manchester man was driving west on Center Street when he struck a 32-year-old Manchester woman, Williams said.
