Po­lice ar­rest­ed 18 peo­ple in east Trinidad as part of Op­er­a­tion Strike Back, an ini­tia­tive launched by new­ly ap­point­ed Po­lice Com­mis­sion­er Gary Grif­fith ear­li­er this month.
