Tripwire Interactive, developer of the Killing Floor and Rising Storm games, has laid off 23 employees, cuts it says were made necessary by the "business realities" of an evolving videogame industry.

With player numbers continuing to sag, this end was all but inevitable.

Pokémon Pokopia currently has an average critic score of 89 on Metacritic, which sees the game overtake Mewgenics and Resident Evil Requiem as 2026's best.
