Pixar is trying something different this year. The studio behind hits such as Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Inside Out and more now brings us their first-ever original series.

Pixar fans have an emotional February to look forward to on Disney+. The eight-episode miniseries Win or Lose, premiering Feb. 19, tells the stories of eight connected characters as they get ready for a championship softball game.

This groundbreaking series marks a significant milestone for Pixar, expanding beyond its acclaimed feature films into episodic storytelling. With its distinctive format, heartfelt themes and captivating visuals, Win or Lose promises to connect with audiences of all ages.

It doesn’t feel like we’re already halfway through the month of January, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true! There are still a couple of weeks left to go in the first month of 2025, but Disney+ is already looking ahead to February and getting subscribers prepared for what’s to come.

The official Pixar YouTube channel just recently dropped a trailer for what appears to be a new animated series following the story of a middle-school softball team's championship game and the week prior to it. The series is called 'Win Or Lose' and the trailer for it can be watched below.

Disney+ added 4.4 million core subscribers last quarter, excluding the lower-priced Disney+ Hotstar service in India.

Pixar released the Inside Out spinoff series Dream Productions on Disney+ last year and Monsters at Work in 2021. Win or Lose is their first original series.

"Inside Out 2," the highest-grossing film of 2024 from Pixar Animation Studios, was nominated for Best Animated Feature. 20th Century Studios received two nods for Best Visual Effects across "Alien: Romulus" and "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes."

Pixar's first-ever animated series, Win or Lose, will be coming to Disney+ in February 2025. It follows a co-ed softball team in the lead-up to their championship game. Each episode will show the week leading up to the game from a different character's perspective.
