Bridget Carleton scored 19 points and the Minnesota Lynx beat the New York Liberty 88-79 on Sunday to keep alive their slim chances at the top seed in the WNBA playoffs.

The Lynx have two road games in three days against two of the other top teams in the league in New York and Connecticut.

The Minnesota Lynx have been the one of the hottest teams in the WNBA since the Olympic break. They are 9-1 in their last 10 games and hold a 27-9 overall record. The Lynx took many by surprise when they jumped out to an 8-2 start this season.

The Lynx could still finish atop the WNBA standings. While it remains a long shot, they beat the top-seeded New York Liberty 88-79 Sunday afternoon at Barclays Center in New York to remain alive for the No. 1 seed. The win is the Lynx’s sixth straight.
