A man fatally shot a 23-year-old Mexican TikTok influencer while she was livestreaming on May 13, and investigators are looking at her killing as a femicide case.

Mexican beauty influencer Valeria Marquez was shot and killed on camera during a TikTok live stream. Marquez, 23, was sitting inside a beauty salon in Zapopan when live stream footage caught the shocking incident.

Before the shooting, the influencer expressed concerns about a lavish gift that an unknown person was delivering to her workplace.
