Ulises Valladares, who was 47, was fatally shot on Jan. 25 when an FBI agent pointed his gun into a window in a Conroe home and opened fire, according to the lawsuit.

However, Douglas York, an attorney for the family of 47-year-old Ulises Valladares, is attributing his death to a series of bungling errors that show "a roadmap of mistakes," by authorities.

Ulises Valladares was taken from his home in Conroe — about 40 miles north of Houston — on Jan. 24, 2018 by two suspects who demanded money from a relative.
