Several tornadoes touched down on Colorado’s Eastern Plains on Friday night as severe thunderstorms threatened large hail and high winds across the region, National Weather Service

COLORADO, USA — The National Weather Service in Boulder has released information about four tornadoes that touched down on the Eastern Plains of Colorado Friday. NWS said a supercell produced three tornadoes across Logan and Washington counties Friday afternoon, including one rated EF2 and one rated EF1.

Storm surveys are underway following a night of severe weather across North Texas. As of Monday afternoon, at least one tornado has been confirmed near the City of Gordon, located about 66 miles west of Fort Worth. Gordon ISD canceled classes for the week due to extensive damage on campus from the storms.
