Colorado Rockies slugger Jordan Beck did something against Pittsburgh Pirates phenom Paul Skenes no one else has done.

After Spencer Horwitz’s second home run of the game gave the Pirates a seven-run lead on Sunday, the Rockies hit back-to-back-to-back home runs, but Pittsburgh held on this time 9-5 to salvage the series at Coors Field.

Pittsburgh leadoff hitter Spencer Horwitz did the most damage, belting two of the homers and driving in a career-high six runs.

The Pirates surrendered another early lead, ultimately giving up six runs in that fateful sixth frame. This coming after suffering one of their most heartbreaking losses all season the night before, when they lost 17-16 after blowing a 9-0 first inning lead.
