The Los Angeles Rams rested nearly all of their offensive starters in their regular-season finale because coach Sean McVay wanted everybody fresh and healthy for the playoffs.

Lions or Vikings, Sean McVay doesn’t care. The coach doubled down on his stance that it makes no difference to him who the Rams play in the wild-card round next weekend – something he made very clear last week when discussing Los Angeles’ possible playoff opponents.

The NFL announced the full wild-card schedule for next weekend and the Rams will play in the final game of the first round against either the Minnesota Vikings or Detroit Lions. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on Monday Night Football, which will be broadcast by ESPN with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the booth.

The Vikings fell to the Detroit Lions 31-9 in their last game. Last time out, the Rams lost 30-25 to the Seattle Seahawks. Sam Darnold threw for 166 yards, with no touchdowns and no interceptions
