Trevor Zegras announced himself to the world at the 2022 NHL Skills Competition. He quickly became one of the NHL's most marketable players with monthly highlights.

Some of them still figure to be worn by the patrons at Honda Center next season and maybe beyond, but Trevor Zegras will no longer be on the ice for the Ducks, with general manager Pat Verbeek completing on Monday the trade that had been speculated, rumored, discussed, dreaded and maybe even fantasized about for many months, perhaps years.

The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired center Trevor Zegras from the Anaheim Ducks just days before the 2025 NHL draft. The Flyers are sending center Ryan Poehling, the 2025 Columbus Blue Jackets' second-round pick (45th overall) and a 2026 fourth-round pick to the Ducks for the Zegras.
