Elon Musk says he’s washing his hands of politics, following his time in Washington, D.C. Speaking to Y Combinator’s AI Startup School, the founder of SpaceX touched on a number of subjects from his early days as an entrepreneur to the future of artificial intelligence to his detour as a political influencer and part of the current administration.

And Musk seemingly can’t let that go. “Physics sees through all lies perfectly,” Musk posted this week on his social-media platform X. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO’s political power in Washington—which just a few months ago seemed limitless —was always about proximity to the president.
