CLEVELAND, Ohio — Kyle Schwarber belted a pair of home runs and Zack Wheeler stymied Cleveland hitters over seven scoreless innings as the Phillies handed the Guardians a 3-0 loss Sunday night at Progressive Field.

Kyle Schwarber homered twice to tie Aaron Judge for the major league lead and extended his on-base streak to 46 games, and Zack Wheeler struck out eight over seven innings as the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Cleveland Guardians 3-0.

Back in the national spotlight on Sunday Night Baseball, the National League’s best pitcher tossed seven scoreless innings and its top slugger banged two homers. Together, Wheeler and Schwarber carried the Phillies to a 3-0 victory over the Guardians and a fifth consecutive winning series.
