The folks over at Good e-Reader are reporting that Amazon is "canceling" shipments of the Colorsoft, at least until after November 26. According to their report, the delay could be through November 18 in the United States and November 26 in the UK.

The company is contacting customers to better understand the issue with the goal of rolling out a software fix, according to users on Reddit.

It looks like some early users are facing display issues in the latest Kindle Colorsoft which is hampering the overall user experience.

This week started with reports from owners of the new Kindle Colorsoft e-reader claiming that a distracting yellow band appeared at the bottom of the screen. Amazon acknowledged that they were aware of the issue.

The Kindle Colorsoft only just launched, and it seems that this new color-screen e-reader has been nothing but beset by problems.

A Reddit user posted a thread with images (see below), saying it’s most obvious when the Kindle “is supposed to be evenly lit and colored like a piece of paper.” Many others with the same issue say they’ve exchanged their Colorsoft for a new one or simply returned it.
