After a decent opening, Baby John saw a drastic fall in box office revenue on Day 2, earning ₹4.40 crore, which is more than a 50% decrease from the previous day's ₹11.25 crore.

The film narrates the gripping story of a cop who assumes a new identity to provide a safe haven for his daughter.

Baby John has marked Varun Dhawan’s most successful opening in the last half-decade. His previous biggest first-day collection was in 2019 with Kalank, which earned Rs 21.60 crore upon release.

Baby John featuring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and more, was released on Christmas Day. While the film presented by Atlee was mounted as a massy holiday entertainer, the box office reports are rather lukewarm.
