Televangelist Jimmy Swaggart is in critical condition after he went into cardiac arrest at his Baton Rouge home Sunday morning.

Evangelical pastor the Rev. Jimmy Swaggart was in critical condition Monday after being rushed to a hospital Sunday from his Baton Rouge-area home, Jimmy Swaggart Ministries said in a news release. Swaggart went into cardiac arrest shortly after 8 a.m. on Father's Day. Emergency personnel were able to revive his heartbeat, the church said.
