FIFA legends Marcelo, Kaká, Pepe, and Alessandro Del Piero showed up to celebrate the one year countdown to the 2026 World Cup.

June 11 marks one year until the 2026 FIFA World Cup​, which will be played in Philadelphia and other cities across the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The FIFA World Cup Houston Host Committee celebrated the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup being one year away with an event Wednesday at Post Houston. "In one year, we're going to have the greatest sporting event ever in Houston," said John Arnold, chairman of the host committee.
